It's Good to be Alive

The sun is shining; the grass is turning a lovely, lush, bright green; flowers are starting to peak up through the ground; and the air smells so fresh. On top of this, my Savior Jesus, loves me and has made a way for me to spend eternity with Him. Wow! Amazing! I cannot wait for the day I finally see Him!

But... I am here today, living life. And you know what? Sometimes I can get caught up in life, getting so busy that I forget to enjoy life and embrace the little things. God put me here to bring Him glory. I don't want to waste my life! I want it to count!

May we live everyday as if it was our last, enjoying and embracing God's grace.

    Love that song...and love your perspective.

    Just taking the time to notice and being aware of what a gift from God this life is, is a huge step. So many people go through life in a fog, just going through the motions. God is doing stuff in your life and you're recognizing it. Wondeful! He is soooo good!! :)

      Yeah.. but there are people I have talked to that are so hurt and their view/perspective of God has been distorted that they do not believe that they deserve anything good in life and punish themselves thinking that it is better to live like that because they do not deserve grace. Which we don't deserve God's grace-but that is the beautiful thing!! If we deserved it or could earn it, then it wouldn't be grace. God is glorified when we embrace and enjoy His grace! :)
